| You would need to have it routed, but yes it can be done. There might be a gap between the body and pu lengthwise (I think the width of the split coil is bigger). Why do you want to do this, though? You could get a P-bass from 2006 or 2007 that came with a humbucker instead of a split coil, although I don't know what they sound like. |
