Hypothetical question regarding neck-thru constucted basses

Sign in to disble this ad
I not sure if this is the right forum to ask this, so please move my thread if it isn't.

This may seem a little silly, but this has been bugging me for awhile. I have a schecter bass with neck-thru construction. Previously, I had a fender p-bass that needed truss rod adjusting to get the bow out of the neck. My question is if a one piece bass gets bowed, how does one adjust the neck? I have a 1 piece bass and it plays fine, so this question is merely hypothetical.

I kind of thought that, but how would one adjust it? I am looking at my bass and I don't see a place where I could access it if it ever needed adjusting.

Theer should be an access hole at the head or heel(body)end of the neck.

EdiT: What kind os bass do you have? Pics would help, perhaps.

Heel or headstock, like any bass, post pics of your bass.

I just looked at some Schecter basses on their web page, and some of the neck-thru models seem to have a little plastic cover on the headstock (I didn't look at all of them). I'd bet money that there's a truss rod nut under that little plastic cover.

Does your bass have a little plastic cover on the headstock?

The adjustment point could be hidden under a pickguard.

Under a rock, under a stone,
where would a trussrod find a home?
