Good thing you didn't break yourself seriously.

The damage to your bass' paint is too big to be fixed - without some major work
it will never look nice again. Even if you would find exactly the same paint.

I'd say strip all of the paint off and either oil it (it looks like nice red alder)
or give it a thin layer of nitrocellulose paint instead of the thick (and broken) plastic
paint job it has today.

I wouldn't touch this. Time is a healer, all bumps 'n' scratches are history. Basses like this are more convincing

The bass can be fixed. But how are you?

I fell a few months back while carrying one of my basses in its hardshell case walking down stairs. I could barely walk for a few weeks after, I thought I had broken my ankle but I think it was just sprained badly. Very swolen and sore to walk on for over a month afterwards.

You can send it to Wilkens guitars and have it repainted. I have a Sadowsky in sunburst on the way (today) but I am considering having it repainted. The cost for the paint job is $350.00. Depending on what your bass is worth it may be something to consider unless you like the reliced look.

thanks guys, im allright. i think i leave it that way... mażbe is put the wohle paint off .... but not now :-)
(in the 1st and 2 pick is a groove on the highest fret on the e string but doesnt affect the playing cause you dont play that fret and the groove is slightly next to the normal string position cause i fell on the bass a little bit sideways)
