| Well, looking over the posts, I've decided to leave it as is and make it a project bass. I'm going to defret it. I thought about the Warmoth path, but they're only designed to fit Fender style necks. Throwing it out wouldn't be an option, because even though it's basically a floorboard, this bass has been with me since I was about 19, and I've cut my teeth on this thing. (I knew it wasn't the best bass, but it did the job.) So, no, I won't be throwing it in the garbage.
So, it has become my first defret. I want to catalog this, and since this is supposed to be a BC Rich Virgin, I'm going to call it as I see it which is a BC Rich Dirty Ho. |
