until I saw this:

Freakin plywood!! Now, thank god I didn't strip or sand the paint, otherwise I'd be really pissed!! Any ideas on what to do with this?

Well, looking over the posts, I've decided to leave it as is and make it a project bass. I'm going to defret it. I thought about the Warmoth path, but they're only designed to fit Fender style necks. Throwing it out wouldn't be an option, because even though it's basically a floorboard, this bass has been with me since I was about 19, and I've cut my teeth on this thing. (I knew it wasn't the best bass, but it did the job.) So, no, I won't be throwing it in the garbage.

So, it has become my first defret. I want to catalog this, and since this is supposed to be a BC Rich Virgin, I'm going to call it as I see it which is a BC Rich Dirty Ho.
