I hate 3 point bridges.

So, I've been mainly a Fender style guy but I recently acquired a Thunderbird from a fellow TB'er. I did the strap button mod, and put some new rotos on it. (45-105) Now, I want to lower the action. Neck is perfectly straight. I'm unable to see any bow or curve in the neck.

To adjust the action on a 3 point bridge, I turn the 2 big screws on the bridge down towards the body don't I? I tried that and it didn't really seem to lower the strings.

Some help? (And yes, I know I'm stupid )

Don't forget the front screw as well. To lower the action, you'll have to bring the whole bridge towards the body.
