They came on a number of Matsumoku
made Basses .. also an Epiphone thinline.

Is the mute a necessity for you? If not, I would browse All Parts or Stewart MacDonald or the like and see what they've got.

The bridge under the mute system seems to be a normal arch-top bridge, that probably has just slots and pieces of fret-wire as "saddles". Should be available everywhere, and it doesn't matter whether it's for a guitar, or bass, it's easy to convert.

That mute looks great though, never seen one before.
