I need to repair my Modulus

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a 2004 Modulus Q6 that I bought second hand that needs to have the finish on the neck repaired. The clear coat near the edge of the fingerboard has started lifting off the neck and flaking away for no apparent reason.
As I understand, since I bought the bass used, Modulus will not perform the work under waranty. I've also read a number of posts that are scaring me off of sending the bass to them for work as it could be gone for months due to them placing priority on waranty jobs. This is my main bass and really don't want to be without it for long.
Does any one know of an excellent repair shop to handle this sort of thing? I live in southeastern WI and would prefer to keep things local. If I need to ship it though, I will.
Thanks,
Fishstix

Contact Jerry Dorsch @ Graphite Guitar Systems. Don't have his website or e-mail but I know its here on TB somewhere! Do a search and it'll pop up.

Good luck!

You're welcome. Why don't you list the info on Mr. Dorsch one more time for our fellow TBers? Oh, and let us know how the repair turns out.

Yeah sure,
The email address for Graphite Guitar Systems (aka Mr. Jerry Dorsch) is
graphiteguitars@yahoo.com
I'll post when I get the bass back. Although, I already have a good feeling about this after talking with him on the phone.
