I'm going to start building a poor man's Road Worn Jazz bass and i really some help regarding the tuners. The tuners are vintage 60's style tuners with small heads and long stems and these are the tuners I love the most. Now my question is: are there any tuners similar to those vintage fender tuners that i can install into a standard Squier/MIM Fender neck? Of course im going to have to drill new holes for the screws, but im just concerned about the diameter. OR, will vintage tuners like the ones Gotoh makes will fit a Squier/MIM neck?
please i could use some answers!
