I think I have a broken truss rod ...

I just bought a Mighty Mite Jazz Bass neck on eBay ... got it installed alright. Although, I did have to drill some new leads for the tuners...

Here's the problem ... when I go to adjust the truss rod the nut just turns and turns and turns and turns. In either direction...I don't feel ANY resistance.

I'm worried. The action is fine (slight buzz past the 12th on the EA) but perfect everywhere else.

Any ideas?
