Question 1
How I can improve bass sound without spending much cash?

Question 2
Slapping the strings produces to much clicks, and muflles the sound, I tried to change action, trussrod tension - doesnt help. Should I polish the frets or what?
Thanx!

1. Improve the sound in what way? One man's "improve" is another man's "suck".

2. If you are clicking after such adjustments, odds are you might have a technique problem with the way you are slapping.

I'd suggest taking your bass to a qualified tech to have it set up properly, then go from there.

Is this a joke? If not please explain the logic behind your assumptions.

You were just the one willing to pay the most. That doesn't sound like winning to me.

Sounds to me like slap style is not for you. Try different strings if the tone is too bright for you. Also try changing your EQ. If you aren't sure what you are doing with adjusting your truss rod and action you could be making things worse.

Are your strings new? This is a big part of the slap sound.

Can you record for us what you are doing, either via video or just audio?
