Ibanez gio soundgear

Sign in to disble this ad
A friend of mine surprised me with a really ****ed up 5 string Ibanez sound gear gio which I happily accepted of him. the only problem is that the neck is cracked and bent and would have to be replaced . Electronics and everything else is fine . Do you think it's worth fixing ? and if so how much would a new neck put me back ?

This is a tough one IMO. I don't know if an aftermarket neck would fit but they usually cost about $100 and up. I think it would cost roughly the same amount of money to buy a used GIO bass. The only way I can see it being worth it is if you can find a used neck that costs about $60 or less, otherwise you might as well just get another bass. All IMO!!
