Ibanez SR305 Ratteling alot on lower frets ...

Sign in to disble this ad
I recently got an Ibanez SR305, and love the way it plays and the way it sounds, except that the B, E and A strings all rattle alot on the 6th fret and lower. Is this a problem that I can rectify easily by adjusting the action at the bridge, or would it be better to take it to a proper guitar tech and get him to look at it?

Loosen the trussrod slightly, to give it more relief.

Since you've only gotten it recently - it's never a bad idea to take a new purchase to a good luthier for a proper setup. Therafter if you need to do your own adjustments you start from a good foundation.
