Question Ibanez SRX695DX

Sign in to disble this ad
Ok, I got my SRX695DX delivered yesterday and instantly fell in love w/ it, there is only one problem.... on the A string @ fret # 8 there is a little buzzing going on, should I just raise the action on the A string just a little? would ths get rid of the slight buzzing? Thanks in advance Guys for any input...

I'm a very big fan of Ibanez guitars and am glad you're so excited!

The buzzing sound bothers me a bit. Is the fingerboard true and through?

Hopefully it's not a warped neck or just a lemon string. I'd suggest taking a file to an older bass but since yours is new I'd contact the manufacturer and demand the problem be solved. (my two cents)

Play on, my friend, regardless!

Step one - Check neck relief, if ok....

Step two - raise individual string

I got the SRX690dx and had some fret buzz here and there. I gave it some relief and raised the saddles accordingly and now there's no fret buzz and the action is still pretty low. Great bass!
