Ibanez Truss Rod Nut Question

I have a problem with my EDA900 - the truss rod nut is stripped. To remedy this I was going to get the extractor from Stew-Mac, but... I don't know what size I need - 4mm or 5mm?

I am going to need a new nut, but I tried our local Ibanez importer, and they couldn't help. Could anyone recommend an alternative I could use?

Do you mean the threads are stripped, or the wrench socket in the nut is stripped?

Is the extractor size the same as the wrench size? My SR505 uses a 4 mm wrench.

StewMac sells replacement truss rod nuts, but they tend to sell Fender and Gibson standard stuff. You will need to know what thread size the rod has.

The wrench socket is stripped - it looks as round as I have ever seen one.

I will get the extractor and measure up the threads and try Stew-Mac. Is there anywhere else to try for truss rod nuts?
