Identify my Nut!

Sign in to disble this ad
hey...so... I've been using my vintage P-bass for quite a while and I'm currently working on my first custom bass. I would like to use the same type of nut for the new bass...but, I have no idea what kind it is. It seems to be round on the sides with a cream color...It is shiny and could be plastic but I'm not sure....

Thanks!

Could you please post some out-of-focus pictures of your cat? That would help.

(Kidding, just kidding )

I'm happy to see that this thread is not TSA-related.

Fender used bone and white corian depending on the year.

the pic of the bass is useless, but that strip of photos of the girl is right on point; who is that?

as for the nut, never mind what that one's made of; a nice bone nut is always a good choice.

I think bone and plastic (and etc.) all have different densities... then again I don't think dropping your nut in a glass of water or other solutions is an option :-/
