I'm new to this kind of stuff little help?

I recently joined a metal band that tunes 2 steps down and I want to go to heavy guage strings am I going to need to adjust my neck and whatnot or will I be ok since I'm tuned so low? Thanks.

Going to heavier guage strings will compensate somewhat for the lower tuning, so you'll probably be fine unless you had a strange setup to begin with or a really flexible neck. Like Joshua said, just give it a shot and don't worry about problems until they happen. Good luck.
