info/opinions on this Wilkinson bridge?

So I have one of these Wilkinson bridges:

...and I'm wondering if I should use it for my next parts build, or just spend a few extra bucks and get a more commonly-used contemporary bridge? Anyone have any opinions on the relative merits and/or comparitive quality of this bridge?

I have one of these on my Roscoe LG2005 and in my opinion they are junk. The saddles tend to loose contact with the base plate and kills your sustain. When you dig in they make a clicking noise.

Had one on an older koa Carvin 5 but didn't care for it. I'd go with a nice Hipshot.

They're notorious for the string ball end retainers breaking.
