Installed a Warmoth P neck on my Jazz bass

I want to give a big thumbs up the Warmoth for making a top notch product.

I bolted my new neck on, custom made to my specs, and it was a perfect fit. Fretwork is nice as delivered and let me set the action as low as I like it. Could get a little lower with a proper fret dressing or PLEK job, but it's pretty spot on as delivered. Neck is stable too. Hasn't moved any since I set the bass up.

Very, very, very nice product.

Picked up two extra frets to boot (that I'll probably never use, but they are there if I want them).

That's great! I just got my Jazz bass back Saturday from having a Warmoth neck installed. I got the standard taper with the steel rods and my bass has never played better!

I went with the steel rods too. The Warmoth site recommends the steel rods.

I was really expecting the neck to need some sanding or shimming or something, but it didn't. Just screwed on perfectly. Wasn't sure about the overhanging fretboard either, but it looks very nice.

I had to route a slot for the truss rod adjuster so I won't have to remove the neck to adjust it. Just remove the pick guard and adjust away.

I got the action low enough that I had to drop the pickups a bit. The bass plays great.
