Installing Gotoh FB3 tuners NEED HELP!!

Sign in to disble this ad
I ordered a Warmoth neck with 11/16", 17.46 mm tuner holes. The tuners are set to fit this hole size, but I need to ream the tuner holes so the bushings can fit in. However my local hardware store and Home Depot don't seem to carry a tapered reamer large enough. 11/16" or more.

What should I do? Can anyone recommend me the right tool or an alternate way to do this? It's eating me alive trying to play this thing!!!!

Sorry, I don't get it. The tuner holes are 11/16" but you want an 11/16" reamer to do what?

If you are talking about counterboring the existing hole for a larger bushing while maintaining 11/16" for the tuner post, you don't need a reamer - you need a counterbore. Reamers create tapered holes - not what you need for tuner bushings.
