installing a hipshot tuner on the A string

i have a music man sting ray 4 string tuned to B E A D and i want to install a hipshot tuner on the E string. is there enough room for the leaver to operate, or will it interfere with the B tuner?

Not enough room, the G tuner (in your case, D tuner) gets in the way.
A quick hack job for this is to cross the strings.
Put B string on E tuner and vice versa.
