Instructions/Tools for Hipshot A Bridge?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi all,

I've been doing a lot of searches, etc. here and on Google, but haven't been able to find what I'm looking for.

I recently got a new FBB Bass with a Hipshot A-style bridge, and I'm looking for instructions on properly adjusting it (what tools to use, and which screws do what), and also what specific tools I'll need.

I checked the Hipshot site and some other places but couldn't find anything like explicit instructions.

If anyone has any advice, I would definitely appreciate it.

Thanks,

Zadillo

1/16" hex wrench.

2 screws are for height adjustment. You can see the 2 screws that go through the saddle and touch the base plate.

The other screw if for string spacing.

Thank you very much!

So the deal is that one of the screws is used to raise the string, and the other to lower it? or they need to be adjusted at the same time?

I sketched up a simple Hipshot bridge diagram in MS Word that might help you.
You can download it ==> here <==.

Hope this helps.
