So I'm setting up my new MIA Jazz, and everything's going well- new strings, truss rod where I want it, plays great. After adjusting the truss rod though, the intonation's off. No problem, except I can't figure out what size hex wrench to use! I've got a pretty decent hex key index (US and metric), but none of them fit. This bass was a GC closeout with no case, so I don't have the case candy.
Help!

EDIT: It appears to have "socket head" screws, whatever that means. I'm no expert.

It's shaped like an allen wrench, but has this kind of rounded head. I'm pretty poor when it comes to handyman skills and verbiage, so I can't tell you any more, sorry! |

I just got a straight allen wrench which is fine for adjusting intonation, but I can see where the ball end would make it easier for adjusting the truss rod. Quote:
