I don't really know how it happened but a couple of my frets don't sound out well or at all. Mostly on the D string and on the high frets.

Happend to me with the last set of Chromes I put on my P. The A string just would not intonate. Must have had a broken core. I swapped it out for the A from a 5 string set I had put on my Jazz and taken off after about 2 wks and the A from the 5 string set sounded fine. It definitely CAN happen. Does the string intonate correctly?

I've changed strings at least 3 times and it didn't change anything but I think my question got started by someone else, and is getting more answers for some reason so I'm going to the Choked frets thread.
