J-Neck Transplant for 2002 Squier P-Bass?

Just curious and may not happen for a few years(if ever) but ever since laying hands on both Squier and Fender Jazz basses I`m fantasizing about those slender,comfortable necks.Since I have these small lady-hands I think this could be one of the few modifications I`d consider.

If I could get the right deal on a Squier or MIM Fender Jazz neck (complete neck w/oem hardware) would it be much to simply have my guitar/bass tech do a swap? What year(s) would be the best fit?

Yeah,I know the neck will cost me more than the bass cost when it was new but my `02 Squier is solid,tight and nicer than the average chinese 2000s...AND was a gift from my buddy.Plan on owning it for life(whether playing or no).

I`m just would (someday) like having the slimmer jazz style neck is all.My Affinity`s stock P neck is great just down the road... *daydreaming of floating Jazz necks*

Isn't the neck pocket the same size in the J and P basses? I think I read that here but I could be misremembering.

If it`s not then it`s pretty close from what I`ve read on the forums. Mechanically retarded here.
