I've had a similar issue with another bass. The A string slips out of the nut, and it doesn't sound like it's making great contact with it. If I press down on it at the nut, it sounds better... I'd prefer not to pay to get the nut completely refitted. Why does this happen? Should the nut slot be lower and the sides higher? |
