Has anybody seen anything like this and if so where?

A Jazz bass control plate but with Strat style output jack?

It would have the same 3 holes for your knobs but the output jack would be strat stlye.

From what I remember, strat output jacks are pretty long - I'm not sure you would have room for 3 pots and the space the jack takes up.

There is one picture of that setup but as slyjoe said it takes up more than one spot. This shows two controls and the output.

yes - i did that. i saw a similar design on a precision bass in the states and played around with that idea a bit. in the end i swapped the classic vol-vol-tone for two switches - the first pot switches the pickup-combinations and the bass off and the second is a tone switch with differend caps.

oops - edit: it's not possible to get 3 pots and strat jack due to the space. even with the switch-pots it's tight, but it works. i never tried stacked knobs, but iam sure they will work also.
