i have a couple of questions about a jazz bass plus.
now its got 22 frets, but can i put a normal 20 fret p bass neck on it? or would the shorter neck make it all out of tone? any info will help.

You should, as long as the holes for the new neck line up with where the screws go through. I don't know about tone or anything though.

yeah the holes and everything seem the same its just that the neck on my plus goes into the body deeper like a deluxe does. so im guessing if i but a 20 fret on the body it will make the length of the strings shorter. Does that make a difference?
