Jazz Bass Volume knobs question..

Hey everyone, this is my first thread and its a simple question seemingly...
I just bought a pair of '62 RI Fender chrome volume knobs to replace the black plastic ones that are on my bass now. The only issue is that the holes in the new knobs are too small to fit around the posts on my bass. So I'm wondering what style/year knobs I could buy that would fit a Mexican-made Fender Jazz bass made in the past year or so.
I bought these knobs off Ebay and didn't put much forethought into I guess. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Measure the diameter of hole in your knobs and ask the seller a question next time before you buy.

Or maybe take them to a store nearby and see if they have replacements that fit.
