Jazz Nut cut on P neck

Odd question here (well maybe)...

Would it be considered weird or wrong to notch a jazz spacing on a nut of a P bass neck? I've got a few squire necks I've been playing with lately.

Space it how you like. Weird or wrong really doesn't matter. Someone not used to it might find it strange, but nuts are easy enough to change.
