Jewelery Cleaner on hardware?

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm wanting to clean up my bass a bit, starting with all of the shiny parts .

I'm mainly wanting to do my bridge, tuning pegs, nobs and strap buttons today, but don't really have any recommended stuff to use around my house.

My mom has some jewelry cleaner that she bought a while ago, but doesn't use it at all. Would it be safe to use on my bass?
