Hi.

Welcome to TalkBass nickelbag90.

You really have to give us more clues, but as any open gear tuner is pretty easy to dismantle and to put back together, the probability of an easy fix is rather good.

Take the tension off the tuner, and put the screw back in.

And +1 to what T-Bird said.

Welcome aboard!

Did the screw break? You may need to tap that screw in a new place...leaving the tuner slightly off center. Or, worst case (if theres no room) remove the whole ass'y...fill screw hole with wood putty...then redrill.

ok so that was my first post in here ill make this reply better

ok so i have an ibanez sr300
as i was tightening a string i nocices the screw in the back that turns as you tighten/loosens your string. not the screw in the wood that holds the piece together, so now its sticking out of the other end. i took some pics but they are having problems uploading im working on that now.
