No.

But thats because basses dont buzz unless they are plugged in, do you mean "buzzes when it is plugged in"? Because if you mean that, then yes.

And it pisses me off.

Or, are you talking about fret buzz?

Do you mean a bass that you can hear fret buzzes when it's not plugged into an amp, but once it's plugged into an amp that's turned up, you can't hear the fret buzzes?

If so, yes I do.

Yep. My Fender Jazz Geddy Lee. I have the action set ridiculously low. When I play it unplugged, it buzzes all over the place. When I play it through an amp, you never hear a buzz, unless I want you to.

I like some fret buzz, it adds a nice crunch to the sound. My neck is properly adjusted, but the action is way too low for the bass, and yes it's much harder to hear when amplified.

My Jazzes are all setup like this except the one with flats. I love this tone.

I have had that happen too. I think its mainly a case of one playing slighty harder than normal when tyhe bass is unplugged so that one can hear it. Once plugged in and the signal amplified one tends to calm of on the attack.
