Keepin' Knobs On

My Precision has a bit of a problem. It's a naughty bass who dislikes keeping its knobs on, if you catch my drift. It just likes to air out those nuts I suppose. Every week I have to unscrew them, tighten the nut, then screw the knob back and and make sure THAT is tight. All of this gets repetitious! What's a good solution? New knobs perhaps?

Sounds odd. Are the pot shafts solid or do they have a split spline type of thing going on? Solid shafts are meant for grub screw knobs, whereas the split shaft types are meant for push-on knobs.

Try Loctite - just don't accidentally buy the industrial strength stuff or those nuts will never see the light of day again.
