killing me...

Sign in to disble this ad
i just had my neck relief adjusted hoping that would solve my problem.

my problem is: i droptune to D or C most of the time and my B string to an A. When i downtune my strings just rest on the first fret and causes a TON of buzz when i play.

My action is already pretty high but the problem seems that the nut is too low to the fretboard...

Does anybody have a way of adjusting this?

Sounds like the tech set it up for standard tuning, which has more tension than drop tuning.

Sounds like a fail in the set-up.

Also sounds like you really should switch to heavier strings.

People forget sometimes that the bass should be set up in the tuning you use to play.
