Knob Questions!

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello tb!

Just a few questions before I finalize my decision.
I'm playing a Fender Deluxe P and I have been looking at new knobs, but I have no idea what size they are.

That's the bass from the Fender site, I was wondering if anyone knew what the sizing on the knobs was. And if so, would these work?

Thanks in advance!

I don't know the size, but it's been my experience that most, if not all, of the Fender type knobs are typically the same fit size. The biggest difference that I've noticed is that some are "push on" while the better ones are attached with a small set screw. Maybe a call to All Parts will ease your mind.

"Knob Questions!"

See 'em on TB nearly every day! *rim shot*

Seriously though. If your bass' pots have a solid shaft then any after-market Fender-style knobs which have set-screws should fit.

If your bass has split-shaft pots then push-on knobs (eg those used on a Strat) might be the way to go. Although set-screw type knobs may fit as well.

Just a pair of OEM knobs for my Squier Affinity P from them.
