Knobs glued to bass?!?

Sign in to disble this ad
I swapped pickups on one of my basses a couple weeks ago, and when I went to remove the knobs, they would not budge. There is no setscrew. Is there any way to get these off without breaking the pots? Do you think I would damage the bass if I tried to get them out without worrying about not breaking the pots, which I'm planning on replacing anyway?

Thanks.

Get a hair dryer and try to heat them up a bit before removing them.
