Any suggestions for a tech I would appreciate. My Fender needs a heat treatment and a couple of other things. Thanks!

I called him. He doesn't do heat treatments. Thanks anyway.

Sorry for the ignorant question, but what's a "heat treatment"?

+1

This sounds like something you'd get at a spa, not a guitar tech.

God Bless, Ray

It's not an ignorant question, I don't know what it is either. I just figured Cliff could do it.

Just googled this guys, AFAIK this is a procedure done with lightbulbs or other low heat to "straighten" a neck because of either a damaged or non working truss rod.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

God Bless, Ray

try either dan mccarthy at www.dallasguitarrepair.com or kenny at www.texasguitarworkshop.com

dan is a great tech, though often quite busy--and i've just started to get to know kenny, but he seems good and is quite efficient, both nice guys

817-451-7402 He's in East Ft. Worth off of 820. Dude works out of his house and used to do set ups for SRV. Fast turnaround and really good prices.
