| Lakland neck swap 55-02

I don't have any experience with this, but met a guy at a gig the other day (who knew I was playing a Lakland by the tone through the house system alone) ... Long story short, he plays a 55-02 as well, and we're planning on swapping necks (he wants rosewood, I'm interested in maple) tomorrow, trying it out for a week, and seeing how it goes. I'm actually filling in for him at his regular gig this week, so we'll be in touch. Anyway - what do I need to know about this ... And/or watch out for? Mostly thinking action/setup issues. Carl Pedigo over at Lakland threw a shim under my neck the other month - should I move it with the new neck? Anyway - looking for your thoughts.
