I ordered a j-style body online. Gorgeous cocobolo top, nice craftmanship.
Problem is the pickup routes; the neckside cavity has the screw pole cavity too far apart, and on the bridge side the cavity for the screws are SO big. I mean SOOOOOOOOOO big.
On the former I can route it to fit but on both cavities there will be a lot of daylight around the opickups.
Ideas?!?!
