Leo Quan Badass Bridges back in stock?

Sign in to disble this ad
So after a long absence of new Leo Quan Badass bridges, they're suddenly back in stock.

Heads up on pricing, I've seen them selling for up to 160$ but found that Guitarpartsresource.com has them for 87.90$.
Not bad on pricing, in my opinion.

Any ideas on why they're suddenly back in stock after being basically impossible to find for so long?

Maybe they are now being made in china?

It may have taken a while to get the manufacturing process debugged. I've seen this happen with many products when the manufacture is shifted from the US to china.

Another thing about items made in china in (relatively) small quantities, look for long periods without available stock. It's all too common in the radio controlled model hobby for most items made in china.

If they are now being made in china and the "official" version is back in stock, look for stupid cheap knockoffs to show up any day now with names like bradass or badact. Most of these will be units from the badass production line rejected by QA.

Lots of assumption here. Do you have any proof that they are now made in china?

No proof at all and never said I thought they were.

Just noting how the recent actions of Mr. Quan's company exactly parallels that of the many (former) US made items in the radio controlled model hobby industry which are now made in china.

yep, i now have one in my hot little fist for sale at the store (a II2 with the pre-cut grooves in chrome, if anyone cares).

it still says that they're proudly made in the USA on the package.
