Leo Quan Badass II Multigrooved Saddles

I bought some replacement saddles for my BAII bridge. It seems like each saddle has four different grooves. Does this mean you can choose a different groove based on your string-spacing needs/wants? If this means the string enters the saddle from the backplate at an angle, is that a bad thing?

RATS, duplicate thread. My bad.
