Which do you prefer?

bone, graphtech, plastic, etc.??

preslotted or blanks?

I ordered a Graph tech nut for my '76 P bass but now I'm thinking maybe I want a bone nut on it instead. Someone convince me that the Graph tech will be fine so I won't have to waste anymore money

I prefer graphite nuts for a number of reasons. First and foremost, I just like a nice subdued black nut. Also, graphite has less of a tendencey to bind with the strings, allowing the strings to glide over easier for more precise tuning.
