Lightweight tuners

I have a '92 Fender Jazz MIM neck that's attached to a very light body. Formula for neck dive. The tuners are original (I believe) "Licensed by Schaller" clover leaf.I believe the holes in my peghead are 11/16" (0.6875 inches).

Warmoth sells Schaller lightweight tuners but the shaft diameter is 0.67 inches. The Warmoth rep told me they wouldn't fit.

Checking the Stew-Mac website, their lightweight tuners (Gotoh and Hipshot) need 9/16" holes.

The Hipshot website has lightweight tuners with 1/2" and 3/8" in the titles, but I have no idea what that means.

What to do? Where can I get some lightweight tuners that will fit?

Hipshot ultralites with the 1/2" posts (ferrule takes up the rest to 11/16"). I love them (HB-6C's). They are, indeed, light and hold adjustment like a rock! Check them out here:
