well, a few days ago i bought a Schecter Elite 4 bass. i had some buzz so i got it adjusted at guitar center, where i bought it. now it has a bit of a bow in the neck, but it has no more buzz that i know of and is a bit more comfortable to play with a pick. is a bit of a bow that bad if its comfortable?

No, a lot of people prefer a tiny bit of bow. I prefer bassically dead flat, but thats not doable on some instruments. A tiny bit of visible bow when looking down neck toward headstock is ok.

Nope. Nothing wrong with an instrument that plays well...
