A little problem I'm hoping you can help me with

Recently my bass seems to be a little out of order if you will. Around the 12th fret the bass goes out of tune. I thought it might be my action but a guitarist friend of mine suggested that it may be my bridge intonation. Before I do anything I'd like to figure out exactly what the problem is, hope you can help.

It is definitely intonation. You need to adjust the position of the bridge saddles as needed.
