Looking For This Bridge... But I can't Have It. :(

I contacted Schecter the other day to ask if I could buy a couple of their 'custom' through-body/topload bridges (like found on the newer Stilettos, the DVs, and old 004s).

They responded that they won't sell individual parts.

Do you guys know of a comparable bridge to be found somewhere? I need one in gold to replace the individual string slot bridge on my '07 Stiletto, and I'd like to slap a silver one on my SX Jazz.

Keep an eye on the parts classifieds or if you could find out what company Schecter gets them from, you might be able to go directly to the part manufacturer, but they probably don't do business with the public and chances are nobody will speak english anyways. You may want to consider going another direction, like a readily available replacement installed by a qualified luthier, like a Badass or Hipshot. If the job is done right, you won't be able to tell the new bridge wasn't factory installed.

Well, I found one that is similar, only it's top-load only, which is fine since it's for my 2007 Stiletto which isn't through-body.

Just gotta save up a bit.

Anybody know if it'll be a good swap from the individual string bridges (not sure what to call them) that were used on the elite until the last couple years?
