Looking for an Ibanez neck...

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello all:

I have been searching for an Ibanez BTB (bolt-on) neck to replace a broken neck on our church bass. It is beyond repair.

I have tried searching on E**y but have had no luck at all.

Anyone have any ideas? Where can we get a replacement neck?

Your input would be appreciated!

Lookup the neck in the parts catalog(under the support section of the site) get the part number and see if you can order one from Ibanez.

go to ibanez website there's a list of authorized repair shops... they can get the parts...

I recently bought a new bridge for my '96 ATK this way.

One caveat on Ibanez replacement necks: Ibanez will not ship a new neck without first receiving the broken neck. They ship replacement necks to authorized dealers only.

this is true, and is mainly to prevent fraudulant builds & such...nevertheless, dealing with an authorized repair shop is the way to go.

Yes. It was a problem for them. Ibanez necks were showing up on all kind of bodies. The last time I was able to get one as a repair only shop from them was around '94-'95. After that it was dealer only in the USA, shipped after receipt of the original neck. Fortunately, they make a solid neck.
