There is a guy named Steve Lamb at the Mars in Arlington that does top notch work. (he is also a great guy) He stays pretty busy, but I think he has someone helping him now. Later

You want him to make a bass for you or work on one?

He is mostly a repairman/setup man (that is the demand at mars). Although I have seen a few guitars he built that were beauties, you could probably find someone who does this type of stuff all the time, and is more set up to customize to your needs. Later

Sam Swank is well known in DFW as the top repair guy in the area.

Also, the guy at the Mars in Plano (I75 and Parker)is very good.

I've heard of a guy in the area that builds electric guitars, but I can't remember his name. Maybe a Google search?

Good luck!
Jeff

Dan at Dallas Guitar Repair. Mostly repair and assembly, etc. Not sure if he'd start with raw wood, but he does good work. 214-724-3789.

MANY PARDONS

I believe it is DFW GUITAR REPAIR. I was going to small claims court when I got laid off from work.
