If you're talking normal trussrod, string height, and intonation work, just go look in the mirror. If we're addressing more complex issues, PM TBer "dcr" / Doug and ask him for some guidance.

Good Luck! I'm in Ark and have been looking for a good bass tech for years...I have posted the same thread here myself many months ago.

I checked the stickies above and can't find a set-up protocol for a washtub bass.

Seriously, Doug uses somebody near Little Rock who's pretty sharp. I'm not claiming its near Eureka Springs, though.

There's got to be someone around Branson. There's too many players working there not to have a decent tech around.

He's a "fer piece" from Little Rock.

I think I'm getting a Rand McNally Atlas for Christmas.

Still don't know the OP's plight. If its a simple set-up, there's no reason to leave the city limits.

Edit: Here's the response from Doug...

"For the more difficult / complicated stuff, I use fivestringdan. He's in Little Rock. He was one of the main guys at Tobias / Gibson when they were in Conway, AR, which is just up the road from LR. As far as finding a tech, Eureka Springs is a music community in and of itself and not that far from Branson, MO, which IS a music community, no question. I know we have at least two guys in Branson on here that could help with finding someone."
