Do a flame job on it, or get some mylar film, the shiny aluminium stuff and sheath the whole body with it. Make yourself a matching hat while you're at it.

In all honesty I was like you some time ago.

You are obviusly bored about your bass. But how does it play? Badly? Sounds good? Bad?

Instead of changing the looks to make YOU feel better about your bass, take it to a guitar repair shop, and with the first $40 or $50 you got , do a full setup /cleaning changing strings.

Believe me, if the guitar tech is good, your bass will play and sound in a way you will feel better about it.

You started your sentence saying "Squier... I know" that means it is bad? The other day I played a properly setup Squier Jazz (made in indonesia.. the cheapest one) and it played great and the sound was actually very good.

I guess theres nothing wrong with playing on a squier, a guitar player I know has rigged his right hand squire and made it a left hand, then added all this ghetto stuff to it and you look at it and your like

"is that the guitar you smashed up on stage then threw in the pool?"

then he'll pick it up and plug it into his 75 watt crate and blow your mind...

Its the only guitar he has to.. and its rediculous. Never thought you could make a squire sound like that, if he can do that then you can do anything.
